Gwinnett Technical College serves more than 27,000 citizens in credit, continuing education and adult education programs, making it one of the largest technical colleges in Georgia. Founded in 1984, the college is located at the corner of Sugarloaf Parkway and Highway 316 in Lawrenceville.
The ages of Gwinnett Technical College students extend from high school graduates to those in their 60s. All of these students are engaged in obtaining relevant knowledge to enhance their career and life goals. Many are pursuing an associate's degree, diploma or technical certificate of credit to help them start a career or jump-start the one they're in. Gwinnett Technical College offers more than 45 associate's degree, diploma and certificate programs and hundreds of seminars and workshops each quarter. It is also the county's largest provider of corporate training programs. Gwinnett Technical College is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.
